If you’re like me, very few things are as enraging as when you get one of those ‘official’ looking notices in the mail or via email saying that you need to renew your domain name through some aptly and ambiguously named company by filling out a census-like form or visiting some misleading URL. I used to see a lot of these, and haven’t for a while until today, when I received this:

I heard on the radio, yes the radio, this morning that Sex.com was going back up for auction because the owners who paid a record $14 million could not turn a profit on it.
Even the DJs said they thought Sex.com was worth $14mil and they thought it was ridiculous they couldn’t turn a profit.
